Associate Chris Wellman, Assoc. AIA, joined LS3P in 2013. After earning a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Physics from UNC-Charlotte, Chris graduated from the Yale University School of Architecture with a Master of Environmental Design. With valuable project skills including 3-D modeling and construction administration, his professional experience includes design work for civic, educational, commercial, and healthcare clients.

Outside of the office, Chris is a longstanding volunteer with a number of community service organizations. He has worked with the under-resourced through programs such as Brunswick Housing Opportunities, a local non-profit dedicated to affordable housing where he serves as a Board Member and volunteer designer. He also serves as a volunteer delivering regular Sunday breakfast and worship for the hungry and homeless. For his volunteer efforts towards providing affordable housing to those in need, Chris was awarded both the “Triple H Award – Heart” and “The President’s Volunteer Service Award.”
