The new South Carolina Aeronautical Training Center will provide training in aircraft assembly, air-craft maintenance and avionics and also continuing education for employees of aircraft manufacturers, suppliers and vendors. The new 164,000 SF facility occupies a 67-Acre site on the the Enterprise Campus and accommodates of classroom, laboratory, and training space, open bay to accommodate aircraft, large aircraft parts, and training aids; shops (sheet metal, composites, engine, avionics, paint, and tool) and office and administrative space. A 60,000 SF aircraft ramp is included. The project requires minor infrastructure and tie-ins to connect roads, utilities (electricity, water, sewer, and IT/data cables), parking, and minor site improvements.
