Holmes High School budget approved for $85 million Edenton-Chowan Public Schools and Chowan County received a $50 million Needs-Based Public School Capital Fund grant through the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to help fund this project. Also, a $35 million USDA loan was approved as the additional funding source for the project. The guaranteed maximum price has been set by the construction manager at risk (M.B. Kahn) for $82,442,450.
