Majestic Square, which takes its name from the old Majestic Theatre, is a 285,000 SF building comprised of prime office/retail space and a 4-level parking deck. The building, perfectly situated in the heart of the city’s Historic Shopping District, holds the prestigious address of the corner of King and Market Streets.

Sensitivity regarding the scope and scale of the building had to be taken into consideration in order for the project to blend with the small-scale shopping street feel of King Street and the adjacent residential district to the east. Even though the building provides considerable and convenient parking for the area, none of the parking structure is visible from the front of the building – which represents just one of the many aesthetic details incorporated in to the design of the structure.

The historically-sensitive design of the building, which encompasses an entire city block, features a curved/rounded facade which was specifically styled to be reminiscent of the grand mercantile structures from the late 19th century seen throughout the country. Anchored by Sakes Fifth Avenue, and home to The Beach Company corporate headquarters, Majestic Square has certainly filled a gap in the District’s streetscape and has become a welcome neighbor to residents and businesses alike.
