Jonathan Navarro, Matthew Santilli and Marissa DeLoreto visited the Hillcrest High School Career Fair where they used both 3D printed models, renderings, and drawing sets to share with the students what we do as Architects, Interior Designers, and Urban Planners. The VR headset was a big hit with the students as they were able to virtually walk through a K-12 project that is in construction now. The Greenville office has been participating in career fair’s at Hillcrest for 7 years and hope to continue that relationship with the students and teachers there for years to come. One of the students that came up to the table at the career fair had previously shadowed someone in the GVL office 4 years ago when he was in middle school and that set him on a path where he is now applying to colleges for architecture. It is so cool to see the impact we are making with this type of event.
