The Boston Logan International Airport CRDC utilized an existing 25,000 SF warehouse near the airport property. Zones of security screening were partitioned with wire mesh fencing systems and gates, designed for future x-ray pallet scanners to be implemented. Once goods are delivered and visually inspected, they move into the secure SIDA zone within the CRDC. Goods are repackaged specifically for each concession location, sealed and tagged. Once tagged, the pallets travel within secure trucks along public roadways without requiring to be re-inspected entering the secure areas of the terminal and concourses.

The 5,000 SF of office space and 20,000 SF of warehouse space received a new electrical service and back-up generator to ensure operations remain fully functional during unforeseen outages. The building was refinished inside and out with updated paint, flooring, and equipment to convert it to a secure, refreshed CRDC facility.
