As part of our Design-in-Kind efforts, LS3P’s Asheville office is providing material specs and color selections on the interiors and exteriors of the new Haywood Apartments.

 

The Haywood Street Community Development, a sister nonprofit to Haywood Street Congregation, is constructing an apartment building containing 41 deeply affordable rental units in downtown Asheville, with a building footprint and design details that reflect their vision:

 

Where giving and receiving are encouraged; where the boundaries of “us and them” are trespassed; where strangers become neighbors; and where each person is reminded of their sacred worth.
