Governor Henry McMaster has appointed Margaret Clarkson as Chairman of the South Carolina Governor’s Mansion Foundation and Commission. The Foundation and Commission is a 501c3 nonprofit organization consisting of representatives from the six congressional districts in the State. The purpose of the foundation is to raise private funds to ensure the historical significance and beauty of the home and gardens of the Governor’s Mansion and surrounding Arsenal Hill are preserved for future generations.
