At the biennial The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Greenville Design Awards, John Edwards was recognized for his many accomplishments by being given the James A. Neal Distinguished Service Award. This is an award that recognizes the outstanding contributions John has given to the Greenville community through his talents and years of service to the architectural profession, education, and public service. John’s impact on affordable housing in Greenville was one of the many reasons given as to why he was chosen to be recognized in this way.
