His specialty is in behavioral healthcare, for which he has planned or designed over 1.7 million square feet on projects throughout the eastern part of North America, from South Carolina to Ontario.

Jeff spent six years a Project Manger for the New York State Office of Mental Health Statewide /Campus Planning project, and was instrumental in developing the Patient Safety Standards for the NYS Office of Mental Health, which has been used widely across the country. As such, he has unique insight on how to design safe and normative spaces for patients.[/vc_cta][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][TS-VCSC-Vimeo content_vimeo=”https://vimeo.com/625964637″][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text]A holistic view of wellness encompasses mind and body. Healthcare practitioners today understand that the mind/body connection is profound, and that the health of one system can impact all others. However, while challenges to healthcare access exist across the continuum of care, barriers to access for behavioral healthcare are especially pervasive. Delays in treatment can have devastating consequences for patients, their families, and their communities.

During and after the COVID crisis, the need for expanded behavioral health services is almost certain to grow. A number of other existing and emerging trends are likely to impact behavioral healthcare and the design of related facilities for the future as well.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
