Focus on the Framework   

Fuquay-Varina, NC, is a charming small town located just south of Raleigh, with a population increase of nearly double in the last decade. To keep up with this rapid growth, Fuquay-Varina wanted to build a new library, one that served as more than a place for housing books. The new library illustrates what a modern library can be: a community anchor and hub providing access to research, entertainment, gatherings, individual study, civic engagement and, of course, reading. The new facility, strategically located for ease of access for the growing neighborhood, community, and town, incorporates exterior spaces to encourage active use as a community destination for after school and weekend activities.
