Homelessness reaches every community, and addressing this complex issue requires multifaceted solutions. Homelessness support facilities include emergency shelters, permanent supportive housing, multi-service centers, food banks, job training centers, mental health facilities, and many others. Access to quality affordable housing is also a vital component of economic stability, and is a cornerstone of community efforts to help economically vulnerable people avoid both brief and chronic homelessness.
