This 67,000 SF, 5-story downtown Wilmington office building will include 35,000 SF of office and retail space for its anchor tenant. Located on a prominent corner across from City Hall, the building makes use of a constrained urban site with zero lot line construction, vehicular circulation, and parking at grade below portions of the building. The design addresses the highly visible corner with a prominent entry and human-scale elements, complementing other significant downtown buildings such as Thalian Hall, the New Hanover County Courthouse, and neighborhood churches. Historically compatible materials are translated to elegant and updated forms, respecting the adjacent architectural context while providing a more contemporary expression.
