Bob Waddell joins LS3P’s Digital Practice group as a BIM Coordinator based in the Asheville, NC office. With over 30 years of experience in BIM and VDC management and architecture, Bob is a dedicated industry leader, mentor, and educator. Bob’s expertise spans across the development and implementation of BIM strategies, execution plans, and advanced visualization techniques to enhance project efficiency, collaboration, and sustainability. A passionate advocate for innovation in architectural technology, Bob excels in BIM coordination, AI-driven automation, advanced modeling and problem solving. His leadership in digital transformation has been instrumental in streamlining workflows and optimizing building lifecycle management.
Bob has held key roles at several leading AE firms where he spearheaded BIM standards, Revit production programs, and software integration for large-scale projects, including multi-family developments, Healthcare, Campus master planning, and high-security government facilities. His background also includes working on mission-critical projects for the Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Defense, the Veterans Administration, SpaceX, and NASA, earning him a distinguished service medal for contributions to the Space Shuttle Program during his time in the US Air Force.
