Cape Fear Community College

Wilson Center

The Cape Fear Community College Humanities and Fine Arts Center is located along a major gateway into downtown Wilmington. This facility will be a landmark building for both the College and the City. It will house new music, drama, and art classrooms; faculty offices; and a state of the art multi functional performance auditorium that will be the largest in the area.

The 1,500+ seat hall can accommodate a variety of functions including but not limited to off Broadway shows, musical concerts, symphonic shows, recitals, and symposiums. A multi functional outdoor arts courtyard for pre-function use, art exhibits, receptions, and performances is also incorporated into the facility.

With a construction budget of $36.5M and approximately 150,000 SF in size, the facility will house effective instructional spaces for students and will become a major arts venue for Cape Fear Community College and the surrounding community.
