As the only building visible from the main entry into campus, the building serves as the new face for the University; the design needed to convey the quality and consistency of the education to those entering the campus. The building creates an entry sequence with a ‘wow factor” that visually continues through the main axis, framing views to the wooded site through the building for a connection to nature. The building provides a space that is equally inviting and usable for community business events and student life experience. The layout organizes a mix of programmatic functions in a cohesive and flexible manner, including IT support, training, and offices; business school offices; a range of classroom settings; small group study areas; community/seminar space; and an executive board room for Trustees and administrators.
