A high-rise law firm upfit nods to local culture.

This 25,000 SF first generation upfit for Nelson Mullins’ Raleigh office features high ceilings, bright finishes, glass office fronts, and collaborative intersections throughout. The curved glass office façade in the main corridor mimics the building’s architecture and highlights the structural columns. Located in the “Fall Line” region, the importance of locality remained a driving factor throughout the design process. As a nod to the “City of Oaks,” the lobby’s focal point is a live-edge wood reception desk made from locally-sourced lumber. The move to downtown and the close proximity to the law school will continue to aid in the firm’s growth and connectivity within the area’s legal market.
