LS3P teamed with AECOM on the master planning and design of TowneBank Tower at East Carolina University. The Master Planning phase included studies of various options for renovation of existing facilities and additions to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The final scope included renovations to the Ward Sports Medicine building to include a football locker room, player lounge, athletics equipment storage and distribution, athletic training and hydrotherapy, and an updated lobby reception area.

At the stadium, the existing press box and light towers were demolished and a new 80,000 SF tower was constructed housing the Trade Club, donor suites, loge boxes, and spaces for the press, coaches, and security staff. Site work included 500+ tailgate parking spaces with power and cable connections as well as an entry plaza and promenade that is used for the procession of the band, cheerleaders, and football team as they enter campus before games.

The project was phased to avoid conflict with the football season and included temporary press facilities within the structure of the new tower during the 2018 season. TowneBank Tower opened in September 2019.
