Elon University Journalism and Mass Communication BuildingElon, NC The design team of Robert A.M. Stern Architects and LS3P was selected to design the new Journalism and Mass Communication Building for Elon University’s School of Communication. The classroom building is a 50,000 square foot new facility to house video studios, edit suites, Serious Gaming Studio, movie theater, converged student media center, media-rich classrooms, study spaces, conference rooms, and faculty offices. Sited along the edge of the Graduation Green, this gateway building forms an edge of campus, and responds to the existing architecture, identity, and green spaces that define Elon. The new facility includes a connection to the existing McEwen Building that houses the School of Communication.
