LS3P transformed a vacant office and warehouse building into a Worship Venue for the expanding ministry of Forest Hill Church. Its location proved a promising opportunity to serve the growing communities of Fort Mill and Rock Hill. The adaptive reuse was a cost savings strategy and a sustainable way to reclaim an unused property.

The first phase was the 25,500 SF renovation of the existing facility to incorporate a large communal foyer, a 900-seat auditorium with stadium seating, adult worship breakout space, a children’s ministry, two children’s theaters, and AVL suite. The immediate success of the church soon required a second building phase to add a new 12,500 SF, 1-story children’s ministry with classrooms, theater and art studio.

In addition to comprehensive interior renovations, exterior improvements included a new, modern entry expressive of the aspirations of the church community. The site was reworked to provide convenient parking.
