This new leading-edge center for advanced manufacturing technologies will support education, research, and entrepreneurship while training a highly skilled workforce. The facility houses training spaces for technologies such as CNC machines, EDM, multiple-axis lathes, welding, rapid prototype equipment for 3-D Modeling, stereo lithography, selective laser sintering, & deposition modeling. In addition to instructional spaces, the facility offers prototyping space for and incubator space for start-ups. High-bay manufacturing spaces accommodate equipment such as mills, grinders, and lathes, with adjacent low-bay space for materials storage. Specialized labs include mechatronics, manufacturing pilot line/integration, innovation labs, and research space.
