Public Service Training Facilities/Burn Building

The Public Services Training Facility and Burn Building project consists of two complementary components: a 4,000 SF, four-level burn tower, and a 12,500 SF classroom building with an apparatus bay. The site has a drafting pit and a steep slope extraction pad as well as general gathering space for students. The burn tower features three state-of-the-art live burn rooms with gas-fueled props, and the stair tower roof is used to practice rappelling skills. The classroom building has two apparatus bays for fire and ambulance vehicles, five classrooms, offices, a conference room, a break room, storage rooms, and restrooms with showers to serve the entire site. The classroom building also has two large training rooms with flexible partitions to create various training scenarios for Fire, Law Enforcement, and EMS
