Mike Martinez has an extensive portfolio that includes faith-based, corporate/commercial, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, K-12 education, research, and residential projects. Mike’s design process incorporates a client’s vision and mission into five aspects of architecture: tectonics, program, experience, context, and sustainability. These five areas of focus support Mike’s ability to build consensus and manage an overarching design concept, his intense pursuit of design excellence, and a successful project.
Mike’s recent work has focused on research projects, higher education, and athletics, including the Clemson University Memorial Stadium Renovations. His overall experience includes strategic planning and visioning, programming, new construction design, renovation design, and sustainable design. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UNC-Charlotte, a Master of Architecture from Clemson University, and is in service with the City of Greenville as a Planning Commissioner.
