The Guilford County Program for All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) transformed a 1970’s shopping center into a facility providing administrative services, physical therapy, a medical clinic, and day room areas for senior citizens. An enclosed exterior garden area and new window openings provide natural light to the interior spaces and encourage participants’ involvement in group activities.
