This new educational facility for Piedmont Technical College provides 45,000 SF of training space for its advanced manufacturing curriculum. With an overarching goal of helping students to master the skills they need to be immediately employable in the local community upon graduation, the building houses specialized industrial lab spaces for welding, CNC, machine tool, CMM equipment, and mechatronics; with classrooms and offices to support each discipline. Flexible lab spaces will accommodate growth, evolving technologies, and potential additional ReadySC projects as more industries choose to locate in Greenwood County for its highly skilled workforce.
