The new Health Sciences Building is a 55,000 SF, 3-story building with a 4th walk-out basement level provides classrooms, teaching labs, simulation labs, offices, and an EMS simulator. The simulation labs resemble a hospital setting, support teaching strategies and provide experiential learning opportunities for students. The labs support programs for occupational therapy, physical therapy, ultra sonography, radiography, hand therapy, respiratory therapy, sterile process lab, medical technology lab, and surgical technology.

The facility is on a very challenging site with over 60 feet of grade change between the lower campus and upper campus. The vertical organization of the building required physical pathways on each level to provide pedestrian access to adjacent campus facilities.
