In order to meet the needs of this changing CCRC campus, the scope of this project included renovations, expansions and connectivity of two existing adjacent campus buildings. Renovations to the Boland Community Center included a new main entry vestibule, revisions to the lobby and reception areas, expanded meeting and dining spaces, a new pub, a relocated/ expanded library, additional administrative office and new resident support/activity spaces.

Renovations to the Fitness Center include: new/expanded locker room spaces, exercise rooms, and new acoustical treatments. Installation of a new fire protection sprinkler system was accommodated within both buildings, along with updated interior finishes. The project was also designed to accommodate future additional modifications as part of the community’s master plan development. Site improvements included a new outdoor patio with trellis, a covered porch for outdoor dining, accessibility upgrades, a new fire pit, new site lighting and significant landscaping enhancements.
