Vantage SouthendCharlotte, NC LS3P has teamed up with legacy client Spectrum Companies (developer behind 300 South Tryon) to design Vantage SouthEnd, two 11-level, 21st century workplace office buildings that will provide a contemporary profile on the SouthEnd skyline. The office towers design includes 29,200 SF of retail prominently featured on the ground floor of the towers. The West Tower is to house Lending Tree’s Corporate Headquarters. Additionally, there will be a 200 key hotel with 1,700-space cast in place parking deck behind the towers with13,400 SF of retail and a 12,300 SF hotel lobby and restaurant on the ground floor. In designing the interior spaces for Vantage Southend, the client wanted to bring a product online that was not on the market in Charlotte. The site’s location function as a bridge between Uptown and South Boulevard yielding a unique opportunity to break away from the typical “corporate aesthetic” and really pull inspiration from Southend’s industrial origins. We challenged ourselves to take these historic industrial elements and subtly integrate them into a refreshing palette, linking the interior and exterior of the building to emphasize the client’s vision.
