The new 28,000 SF Skilled Trades Building shares a building and site amenities with the Regional Plant, while retaining separate entrances and program spaces. The Skilled Trades portion of the building has classrooms and lab spaces for welding, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, building automation, and workforce development programs as well as faculty offices.

The 6,700 SF Regional Plant provides hot and chilled water for mechanical systems for future adjacent buildings, and includes a plant room, small control room, work shop, conference space, an electrical switchgear room, and covered outdoor storage which houses up to four cooling towers.

The facility achieved LEED® Silver certification.
