A native of Charleston, SC, Vice President | Principal Maggie Carnevale, AIA moved to Asheville and joined the firm in 1998. She serves as LS3P’s Asheville Office Leader, and specializes in educational, institutional, and commercial projects throughout western North Carolina. Maggie has played a critical role in some of the firm’s most complex and challenging projects, and is well versed in all aspects of planning, programming, and design, particularly in developing design schemes involving challenging site issues and multiple user groups.

A partner since 2009, Maggie focuses on sustainable, relevant, well-informed design for both public and private clients. She uses her managerial expertise to engage these groups in order to resolve conflicting priorities and formulate a unique design strategy. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional, past Secretary of the WNC Green Building Council, and a past Board Member of the Asheville Chapter of the AIA.
