Mike Martinez, AIA, LEED AP BD+C Senior Project Manager Associate Principal Associate Principal Mike Martinez has an extensive portfolio that includes faith-based, corporate/commercial, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, K-12 education, research, and residential projects. Mike’s design process incorporates a client’s vision and mission into five aspects of architecture: tectonics, program, experience, context, and sustainability. These five areas of focus support Mike’s ability to manage an overarching design concept, his intense pursuit of design excellence, and a successful project. Mike’s recent work has focused on research projects and higher education, including a new environmental testing laboratory for Renewable Water Resources and Littlejohn Coliseum renovations for Clemson University. His overall experience includes strategic planning and visioning, programming, new construction design, renovation design, sustainable design, and construction administration. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UNC-Charlotte and a Master of Architecture from Clemson University, where he often volunteers as a Fourth Year Architectural Studio Guest Lecturer.
